A meet the buyer event for small indigenous suppliers (SIS) and social enterprises (SE) with an interest in engaging in tendering for public sector contracts at local, national or EU level is scheduled in Kilkenny for Friday the 17th of February 2011.  The objective of this event is create a space for engagement between local suppliers and public procurement agencies.  It will offer enterprises the opportunity to meet a range of buyers and to discover more about doing business with the public sector.

* This one to one tender review service is offered to assist organisations in identifying where they are falling short in the tendering process and prescribe steps that they can take to improve their chances of success in future competitions for public sector contracts. Participants are advised to bring the following documents in relation to a previous public sector contract they tendered for, if at all possible: (i) official tender request; (ii) bid document; (iii) feedback (verbal or written). 

This free event is being offered as part of the Winning in Tendering project based in Dublin City University and the ACTION Pilot Project for social enterprise based at Dunhill Rural Enterprises, Waterford.
