The publication of these case studies highlights some examples of the diverse range of Social Enterprise activity which is taking place within South West Wales and South East Ireland.

You’ll see that Social Enterprises vary hugely in terms of size, trading area and motivations but one common thread is evident throughout – they trade to deliver a social ‘dividend’ and not to distribute profits to shareholders.

The ACTION project team hopes that the featured case studies give you a better understanding of what Social Enterprises can deliver and what drives the social entrepreneurs who are behind the enterprises.
