This website is provided to communicate information about the ACTION project, its partners and its sponsors.
For what ends will the data be used?
The data will, where appropriate, be used to send you information about the ACTION project.
What sort of information is collected?
Through the website, we will on occasion, collect contact details: email address, forename, surname and organisation.
We may also ask you to indicate your email preferences (html or plain text mail).
If you participate in the project, we may ask you for more information about your organization and about you. The information we collect is confidential. The reason for collecting this information is to help us to understand how the ACTION project supports you and your business. At a summary level, the information will be used to create reports evaluating the project and how it has contributed to the success or development of relevant organisations. Detailed information about your organisation will not be shared unless you give your explicit permission in response to an explicit request from us to provide further details about your experiences with the ACTION project, for example to document success stories or case studies.
In addition we may ask you to take part in Equal Opportunities monitoring. It is a requirement of our funding for the ACTION project that we collect data from participating individuals or organisations. The information collected is confidential and is used to inform the European Commission of whether projects are reaching all citizens in Wales irrespective of the barriers that they face. The collection of data will help to ensure that funds are targeted to where they are needed most. This information will not be used for any purpose other than that stated and any equal opportunities information, which is made public, will be done in a way that ensures anonymity. Provision of this information is entirely voluntary.
Who is the data communicated to?
The information is accessible to the partners involved in the ACTION project (The University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Dunhill Rural Enterprises Limited). We will never sell your details, they will be used only for the purposes of communicating with you about the ACTION project and for reporting about the project.
How can I have access to my information, in order to verify its accuracy and, if necessary, correct it?

How long are contact details held?
Contact details will be held for one year beyond the official closure of the ACTION Project. If as an outcome of the ACTION project, one or more related projects are initiated within that year, an email from the ACTION project will invite you to sign up for information on those projects. After one year, your contact details will be deleted from our database.
